The Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAGSC-SVB) conducted a blood donation programme on 10 July 2026 under the guidance of Brigadier M.K.S.S. De Silva, the Colonel Commandant of SLAGSC, and supervision of Mrs. P.N.K. De Silva, Chairperson of SLAGSC-SVB.
The blood donation campaign was conducted with the assistance of the Army Narahenpita Hospital Blood Bank, and 108 blood donors generously donated blood in support of this worthy humanitarian initiative. Appreciation gifts were presented to all blood donors in recognition of their invaluable contribution.
Members of SLAGSC-SVB, senior officers, officers and other ranks participated in the programme.
