The Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB), together with the 3rd Regiment of SLASC, conducted a welfare programme at the Veterans’ Home, Katana on 19 July 2026 under the guidance of Mrs Ajantha de Silva, Chairperson of SLASC-SVB.
As part of the programme, two water dispenser units and essential sanitary and hygiene items were donated to the Veterans’ Home to support the daily requirements of its residents. Lunch was also served to all resident veterans.
Adding further significance to the occasion, veteran lyricist and music critic Mr Dhammika Bandara conducted a musical appreciation session.
