The Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police Seva Vanitha Branch (SLCMP-SVB) conducted a lecture on “Smart Parenting” on 24 July 2026 at the Regimental Headquarters of SLCMP, Polhengoda, under the guidance of Mrs Iroshini Fernando, Chairperson of SLCMP-SVB.
The lecture was conducted by Mr Sugeeshwara Sirimanne, who delivered an engaging and informative session focusing on the importance of effective parenting, positive communication, understanding children’s needs, and developing healthy relationships within the family. In addition, officers and other ranks serving across the Army participated in the lecture through the Zoom online platform.
Major General B.G.S. Fernando USP Hdmc psc, Commander, Security Forces (Central) and Colonel Commandant of SLCMP, senior officers, officers, members of SLCMP-SVB, and other ranks participated in the event.
