Under the guidance of Mrs Iranthi Dilrukshi Perera, Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLAMC-SVB), members of the SLAMC-SVB visited Ward No. 5 of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Mulleriyawa on 24 July 2026.
During the programme, lunch was served to resident patients. To uplift their spirits and promote their wellbeing, the SLAMC Calypso Band entertained the patients with a musical performance, creating a cheerful and memorable atmosphere.
Further extending its support, the SLAMC-SVB donated a surgical dressing trolley valued at Rs 58,000 to Ward No. 5 to enhance patient care and support the ward’s day-to-day medical activities.
Members of SLAMC-SVB, senior officers, officers, and other ranks participated in the visit.
