The Mechanized Infantry Regiment Seva Vanitha Branch (MIR-SVB) conducted a school book donation programme on 25 July 2026 at the Mechanized Infantry Regimental Centre under the guidance of Mrs Chithrani Jayaweera, Chairperson of MIR-SVB.
During the programme, a total of 2,300 school books were donated to 230 students, providing valuable educational assistance to children in need, while 12 students symbolically received their school book packs.
Senior officers, officers, other ranks, and their children participated in the programme.
