Mrs. Dilrukshi Medagoda, the newly appointed Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLASC-SVB), assumed duties at the Regimental Headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps on 03 August 2026.
The occasion commenced with religious observances, followed by the signing of the official document by the newly appointed Chairperson, formally commencing her tenure.
Subsequently, the new Chairperson shared her vision with senior members of the SLASC-SVB regarding future initiatives focused on the welfare and well-being of the soldiers.
The Adjutant General of the Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Major General M. J. R. S. Medagoda RSP USP ndc psc IG, the Centre Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Corps, Brigadier D.P.K. Gamage RSP USP psc ptsc, senior officers, and officers of the SLASC were present on this occasion.
