The Gemunu Watch Seva Vanitha Branch (GW-SVB) organised a special donation programme, followed by a dengue prevention and cleaning programme, at the Isuru Sewana Child Care Centre, Kuruwita, under the guidance of Mrs. Nimali Kodithuwakku, Chairperson of GW-SVB, on 8 August 2026.
During the programme, essential household appliances, including four thermos flasks, an electric rice cooker and a gas cooker, valued at approximately Rs. 35,000, were donated to the centre. In addition, troops of the Gemunu Watch conducted a dengue prevention and cleaning programme throughout the premises.
Members of the GW-SVB, officers and other ranks attended the event.
