Troops of the 12 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ-Central provided their workforce assistance to conduct the annual ‘Katinacheewara Poojawa’ at Hambantota ‘Shashanaloka’ Temple and Ballagaswewa temple on 24 November and 20 November respectively.
12 Infantry Division & cleaned the temple surroundings and compounds of both temples and prepared necessary arrangements as per guidelines given by the monks. Laymen, devotees and villagers joined hands with the troops.
