Troops of 12 Infantry Division welcomed the new general officer commanding at the formal function organized with military customs, at the premises of division headquarters on 04 August 2023.
After ceremonial traditions, Major General C S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG assumed duties as General Officer Commanding 12 Infantry Division, at his office. The senior officer is a professional in all edges of military being a proud member of the Gunners family. Staff officers and troops extended best wishes to their new frontrunner.
