Troops belongs to 18 Gemunu Watch under 121 Infantry Division rushed to a wildfire scene at Maragala Kanda area in Monaragala and made untiring efforts to douse the spreading fires during the afternoon on 11 March 2024. A land mass of 20 acres were ruined due to the spreading fires.
