Troops of 3rd Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment along with Police and Special Task Force personnel retrieved a body of an unidentified deceased woman which was found at the Great-western Mountains in Talawakele on 02 August 2023. As requested by Lindula police station, army troops swiftly responded and assisted them to carry the dead body.
On the guidelines of Commander Security Force (Central), 11 Infantry Division based in Kandy guided under command troops in Nuwaraeliya to accomplish the evacuation operation.
