Troops of 4th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry based in Badulla, under Security Force (Central), made prompt response to douse wildfire at a Teak cultivation land in Keeragolla area, on 14 August 2023
The fire ignited on natural circumstances spread over the teak cultivation of 25 acres in Keeragolla during the morning hours. Upon the guidance of the Commander Security Force (Central), army firefighters endured to contain the wildfire with the assistance of the civil communities
