THE BUDDHIST MONK DELEGATION VISITS SRI PADA WITH ARMY’S ASSISTANCE

Venerable Diyadora Mettananda Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Kandayaya Meththarama Vihara – Puttalam, and 16 other novice monks received the caring assistance of army troops during their voyage to visit Sri Pada pilgrimage site on 31 January 2024.

The monk delegation was guided to the sacred pilgrimage site by the troops belongs to 19 Sri Lanka National Guard, on the guidance of Commander Security Force (Central).
