CENTRAL COMMANDER PINS PREFECT BADGES

At the request of the Principal at Isipathana College, Colombo, Major General Mohan Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu, Commander, Security Forces (Central) attended the investiture ceremony of school prefect badges on students as the Chief Guest on 03 April 2023.

Principal and staff of the college warmly welcomed Major General Mohan Rathnayake on his arrival at college premises amid a Guard of Honor salute extended to the visiting Major General Mohan Rathnayake by school cadets before he joined awarding prefect badges.

During his brief address, he highlighted leadership traits and urged the students to be patriotic and disciplined. He also recalled memories of his school days and wished good luck to the college in its future endeavors. Members of the Old Boys’ Association and students were associated with the day’s event.
