On the guidance of Commander Security Force (Central), Major General Mohan Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu, troops of Security Force Headquarters organized a Bodhi Puja ceremony and Dhamma sermon at the headquarters premises on Poson Full-moon poya day 03 June 2023.
In concurrence of the National Poson Festival, troops combined with Diyatalawa Trade Association, organized a Rice Dansala to provide free meals for the people visiting temple sites on the poya day. On the same day evening, troops under command to Security Force Headquarters (Central), contributed to erect colourful Poson lanterns at Haldummulla Public Stadium and Kumbalwela Mahamewna Meditation Centre.
Senior Staff Officers at Security Force Headquarters, Senior Officers, Troops made their presence at the venues.
