Donating blood is the most charitable affair in one’s life. Accordingly, Troops of Security Forces Headquarters (Central) also voluntarily donated blood at a campaign which was organized by Executives Association in the Uva Province. Further, this charity campaign was held on 17 July 2018 at Sri Pushparama Viharaya in Bandarawela.
Responding to a request made by the organizing committee from the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG, 02 officers and 50 soldiers contributed the national requirement of blood to save the precious lives of patients who are in need of blood. Moreover, the organizing committee extended their gratitude towards all the donors for their sincere support provided to make this communal effort a fruitful one.
