CHIEF OF STAFF ON ADMINISTRATION INSPECTION AT SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (CENTRAL)

The administration inspection of the Security Force Headquarters (Central) was held at the headquarters premises in Diyatalawa, on 21 September 2023 in the presence of the Chief of Staff, Major General WASS Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu.

The inspection mainly focused on the smooth conduct of affairs in the main field formations as per stipulated procedures of the Army and resolution of any pending or existing issues in respective top and ground level institutions of the headquarters as regards logistics, administration and maintenance.

On arrival, the Chief of Staff was warmly received by the Commander Security Force (Central), Major General WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc after a Guard Turnout at the entrance.

Before the commencement of the day's proceedings of the inspection conference, the Chief of Staff in his remarks highlighted the importance of conduct of administrative inspections in order to become a professional establishment within the Army. Towards the end, an exchange of mementos took place between Chief of Staff and Commander Security Force (Central).

Director Generals and Directors of the Army Headquarters, senior officers and senior Staff Officers participated in the administration inspection process.
