Troops at 122 Brigade of Security Forces (Central) contributed the renovations at the Uddhakandara RajamahaViharaya in Thissamaharamaya on 29 June 2018 on the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndcpsc IG.
For this renovation 15 soldiers contributed and their effort was appreciated by the Chief Incumbent as well as the other Buddhist monks at the temple. Further, these monks blessed the all military personnel remembering their involvement in the nation building programmes.
