Wildfire ignited at Nidankanda area in Fox Hill, Diyatalawa, was completely controlled by the troops of Security Force Headquarters (Central), on 16 August 2023.
The fires sparked during the early morning destroyed acres of vegetation in famous Fox Hill area. On the guidance of Commander Security Force (Central), army firefighters swiftly responded to douse the wildfires after making a great effort.
