An English Course was designed by the British Council in collaboration with the Directorate of Training and the supervision of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General GRH Dias USP ndc psc IG in order to enhance the English knowledge of the Officers at Security Forces Headquarters (Central) and its under command formations.
The course was commenced on 21 February 2018 with the participation of 20 Officers and it has been scheduled to be conducted for two weeks at the Security Forces Headquarters (Central). Representing the British Council Mr Mike is conducting the lectures. General Staff Officer 2 (Training) of Security Forces Headquarters (Central), Major AKRMMP Abeywardane also participated in the commencement of the course.
