Major General Asanga Perera psc Hdmc assumed duties as the 15th General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division in Hambanthota on 05 June 2023.
The incoming senior officer was welcomed by the Officers and Troops following the military customs. The new General Officer Commanding planted a tree sapling to mark his new appointment.
Brigade Commanders, senior staff Officers, battalion commanders, officers and troops witnessed the program.
