A Poson Zone was organized by Sri Vivekarama Viharaya, Uduarawa in Bandarawela on 27 June 2018 at the temple premises in collaboration with the Military personnel at Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on the direction of the Commander Security Forces(Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG.
Representing the SL Army the Gemunu Watch Training School, 8 Sri Lanka Service Corps and 2(V) Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers which are under command to Security Forces (Central) exhibited the lanterns at this Poson Zone. Further, all the participants were blessed by the Chief Incumbent of the temple for the contribution extended to make the event a success.
