NEWLY APPOINTED GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 12 INFANTRY DIVISION MAKES FIELD VISITS

Major General C S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG who assumed duties as General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division made field visits to under command brigades and battalions established in the area of responsibility.

The senior officer made official visits to 121 Infantry Brigade at Kumbukkana, and then toured to 20th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 18th Battalion of the Gemunu Watch on 05 August 2023.

The General Officer Commanding moved southwards to visit the 122 Infantry Brigade at Weeravila, and afterwards stopped by 12th Battalion of the Gajaba Regiment and 3rd Battalion of Sri Lanka National Guard on 07 August 2023.
