PROFESSIONAL COMPERING TRAINING & PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY WORKSHOP FOR CENTRAL TROOPS

A dynamic workshop on Compering Training and Photography/Videography was organized by the Security Force Headquarters Central for troops serving in under command formations, on the sheer guidance of Major General WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, Commander Security Force Central. The workshop was conducted at the premises of security force headquarters from 13 November to 16 November 2023, and one officer & 39 other ranks from security force headquarters and under command formations participated in. The lectures and practical sessions were conducted by a professional media personal, Warrant Officer 1 AANT Amarasinghe from Directorate of Media - Army Headquarters.

The partcipants learned skills and techniques of compering, photography and videography that benefit themselves and the army establishments to conduct military/non-military events, civil military coordination programs and media publications.

Lieutenant Colonel PBG Withanage, Assistant Colonel Coordinating of security force headquarters conducted the opening address for the workshop.

The four-days dynamic workshop was concluded with the closing address conducted by Colonel WAJ Hemachandra RSP psc, Colonel General Staff of the security force headquarters. Senior Staff Officers made their presence during the closing ceremony.
