PROMPT ACTIONS OF CENTRAL TROOPS CONTROL WILDFIRE IN SEELAWATTA AREA

The wildfire broke out in Seelawatta area of Haldummulla Divisional Secretariat which is situated within the responsible area of Security Forces (Central), was successfully controlled by the troops on 11August 2018.

On the direction of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG, 01 officer and 25 Other Ranks belongs to Security Forces Headquarters (Central), assisted to control the fire.
