SACRED PINNACLE, THE STATUE OF GOD SAMAN AND OTHER RELIGIOUS ITEMS WERE BROUGHT FROM NALLATHANNIYA TO THE TOP OF SRI PADAYA TO MARK THE BEGINNING OF SRI PADA PILGRIM SEASON

To mark the beginning of Sri Pada pilgrim season, the sacred pinnacle, the statue of god saman and other religious items were brought from Nallathanniya to the top of Sri Padaya by the Army troops on 18 December 2021.

The Commander SF Central Major General MKS Silva RWP RSP ndu participated in this religious event and Brigade commander, 112 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier DAK Disanayake WWV RWP RSP, Officers and Other Ranks of 19 SLNG, 112 Infantry Brigade gave their utmost assistance to successfully conduct this religious event.
