In line with the 10th Anniversary of Security Force (Central) that falls on 14 March 2023, a series of events took place at the headquarters on the directions of Major General Mohan Rathnayake RWP RSP USP ndu, Commander Security Force (Central).
Initiating the celebrations, a facilitation project was organized by the troops on 03 March 2023 that provided lunch meal for the children at Sirisangabo Children’s Home in Bandarawela. A Bodhi Puja program was conducted on 06 March 2023 at the headquarters premises to invoke blessings of triple gem for all serving, retired and sacrificed members of the Sri Lanka Army. Accordingly, on 10 March 2023, troops organized a cleanup drive at the premises of Ayurvedic Hospital Diyatalawa upon the supervision of the Security Force Commander.
On the Anniversary Day, the troops of 23 Gajaba Regiment conferred the Guard Turnout and the Guard of Honour to the Commander Security Force (Central) in the morning. The troops address by the commander was followed by the group photograph. Senior Staff Officers, Officers and Troops witnessed the anniversary program.
