SECURITY FORCES HEADQUARTERS (CENTRAL) WAS RELOCATE IN A NEW BUILDING

SFHQ (Cen) was establish on 13 March 2013 at volunteer force training school premises. Diyatalawa was selected to establishment SFHQ (Cen) due to the reason that it is the focal area to carry out all the administrative & operational formation in its respective AOR.

SFHQ (Cen) was relocated at the former ARTRAC building on 02 March 2022.

The Commander SFHQ (Cen) Maj Gen M K S Silva RWP RSP ndu graced the opening ceremony who was accorded with guard turnout followed by a tree planting ceremony at the new premises. Thereafter opening ceremony was concluded amidst the pirith chanting ceremony.

The event was successfully conducted with the participation of senior officers and other ranks.
