SENIOR NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS POLISH UP THEIR LEADERSHIP QUALITIES

Security Force Headquarters Central which always concerned on the perfection of training aspect, conducted a Leadership Training Course for Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers serving at formations under the Area of Responsibility.

The training programme designed upon the directions of Major General WWHRRVMNDKB Niyangoda RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc Commander Security Force Central, was held with the intention of refining leadership qualities and skills of Senior NCOs. The residential training course was conducted from 16 October 2023 to 20 October 2023 at the premises of security force headquarters in Diyatalawa.

A total of 47 Senior NCOs in the ranks of Warrant Officer I and below participated in this training programme where they engaged in morning physical training, lectures, practical sessions and leisure activities following the opening address on the first day. During the lectures they were transfered knowledge on leadership qualities, team-building, personal grooming and management skills.

At the awarding ceremony held on 20 October, all the participants received certificates from the security force commander to mark the successful completion of the course. Late in the evening, a Dinner Night with the participation of senior staff officers at security force headquarters, culminated the training programme.
