Security Forces Headquarters (Central), celebrated the 7th anniversary on 14 March 2020. A series of programmes were launched with the instructions and the participation of Major General G J L Waduge RWP RSP USP VSV ndu, the Commander Security Forces (Central).
The Pirith chanting on 13th night was followed by an almsgiving on next day morning. Further, on 14th March, the Commander was awarded a Guard of Honour by the troops of 9 Sri Lanka Singhe Regiment and on the same day the Commander participated in an all rank lunch in order to celebrate the 7th Anniversary.
Moreover, a musical evening was also organized with the participation of the Ranawiru Stars at the Muthukumaru Grounds.
