SFHQ (CENTRAL) ASSISTS THE CIVIL AUTHORITIES

Fulfilling yet another a dengue prevention project in Haputale town, a sharmadana campaign was launched with the participation of the government sector official and non government organizations workers on 06 September 2018.

The troops contributed this campaign under the aegis of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG on a request made by the Mayor of Haputale Municipal Council. Accordingly, 1 officer and 20 other ranks belonging to Security Forces Headquarters (Central) assisted the campaign. During the campaign, the priority was accorded to the cleanliness and beautification of the city.

This campaign successfully ended amidst the appreciations of the public towards the Commander of the Army and military personnel for assisting such programmes in the hour need.
