A Bodhi Pooja was conducted by the staff of Volunteer Force Training School, Diyatalawa in coordination with the Security Forces Headquarters (Central) on the account of Poson Full Moon Poya Day on 27 June 2018 at the Bodhi Kanda Temple, Diyatalawa with the instructions and the guidance of the Commander Security Forces (Central), Major General G R H Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG .
A Buddhist thero from Kahagolla Viharaya delivered a Dhamma Sermon during the Bodhi Pooja and explained the importance of the Poya Day. In addition the Commander of the Army, Commander SF (Cen) as well as all military personnel were blessed for a peaceful and Successful Life ahead.
The Brigadier Admin and Quartering of Security Forces (Central), Brigadier E R P Weerawardane along with 40 officers and 220 other ranks of Security Forces Headquarters (Central), affiliated training schools and units participated in the Bodhi Pooja.
