TROOPS FACILITATE SUPPLY OF INCENTIVES TO HAMBANTHOTA STUDENTS

Troops of the 12 Infantry Division of the Security Force HQ- Central facilitated and coordinated the distribution of a stock of school accessories among deserving students at Hambantota Yahangala Primary School for their next year (2024) studies on 23 November at the school premises.

Major General C.S Munasinghe WWV RWP RSP USP ndc psc IG, General Officer Commanding of 12 Infantry Division, together with Mr. Ranil Perera, a philanthropist from Kotte provided necessary financial contribution to this project.

Mr Chandana Rathnayake, Assistant District Secretary for Hambantota District, Principal, Teachers, Parents, several Officers and Other Ranks participated in the distribution programme.
