Army based in Diyatalawa garrison town, reported to control another largely spreading wildfires at Thangamale in Haputale area during the evening hours on 06 August 2023.
On the guidelines of the Commander Security Force (Central), troops of 3rd Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment those attached to the security force headquarters in Diyatalawa, swiftly responded to control the wildfire in Haputale mountain range and saved acres of vegetation.
