VISIT TO BATTALION TRAINING SCHOOL WALAMANDIYA

Brigadier General Staff of the SF HQ (Cen), Brigadier K Premathilake RWP RSP visited BTS - WALAMANDIYA, the Battalion Training School of SF (Cen) on 14th Dec 2017.

Guard Turnout was accorded by the troops of 5 (V) SLLI to the senior officer in his arrival and tree planting was done to mark the visit. Briefing was conducted by the Training and Security Coordinator of the school covering all training, administration matters pertaining to the school and future plans. Commanding Officer of 5 (V) SLLI deliver at briefing on the progress of ongoing training of his battalion. During the comments, Senior Officer given away relevant instructions to the staff of the training school in order to uplift the training as well as infrastructure facilities at the school.
