11 Infantry Division bid farewell to the outgoing General Officer Commanding Major General K A U Kodithuwakku RSP USP psc IG on Saturday, 21 June 2025, at the Division Headquarters.
The Senior officer was awarded with a Guard Turnout followed by a Guard of Honor by the troops of the 2 (Vol) Battalion the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. To mark the event GOC posed for a group photograph with the officers and Other Ranks of the division. In line with military formalities the outgoing GOC open newly located 120 MM Motor guns in front of the Divisional Headquarters. Later, the troops were addressed by the General Officer Commanding and he interacted with the officers and other ranks during the all ranks tea.
The farewell proceedings continued on 22 June 2025, with Officers and Other Ranks of the 11 Infantry Division Headquarters expressed the heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to Major General K A U Kodituwakku RSP USP psc IG for his bright future.
