THE GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING 11 INFANTRY DIVISION CONDUCTED FIELD VISITS TO THE BATTALIONS UNDER COMMAND OF THE 11 INFANTRY DIVISION

General Officer Commanding of 11 Infantry Division, Major General T C M G S T Cooray RWP RSP USP ndc psc made his field visit to 10 GR and 2 (V) SLSR based in Kandy.

The senior officer was warmly welcomed by Major P H U M Kulatilaka, Commanding Officer (Overlooking) of 10 GR and Major K C Yaparthna, Commanding Officer of 2(V) SLSR. The Commanding Officers of the battalions briefed to the General Officer Commanding on their respective roles and tasks within the area of responsibility. Following the briefing, the General Officer Commanding addressed the troops of the battalion and later interacted with all ranks during a series of events organized as part of the visit.
