RENOVATION OF THE KANDY EX-SERVICEMEN’S ASSOCIATION BUILDING COMPLEX WITH ARMY ASSISTANCE

Under the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme. and in response to a request made by the Chairman of the Kandy District Ex-Servicemen’s Association, Brigadier (Retired) WMAB Wijekoon, to the Commander, Security Forces (Central) Major General KAWNH Bandaranayake USP, the three-storied office building of the Ex-Servicemen’s Association was renovated with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Army.

Accordingly, the Kandy District Ex-Servicemen’s Association, which conducts various welfare activities for retired armed forces personnel in the Kandy District, received engineering support from the professional soldiers of the Engineer Services Regiment to carry out several repair and renovation tasks of the three-storied office building. These renovation works were successfully completed on 20 November 2025.
