COMMANDER, SECURITY FORCES (CENTRAL), GRACES THE CEREMONY AS THE CHIEF GUEST OF THE LONG SNIPER COURSE

The Long Sniper Course No. 23, conducted by the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School, commenced with the participation of 41 local and foreign military officers and other ranks, and successfully concluded on 10 December 2025. A total of 10 officers and 31 other ranks completed the course successfully.

Major General K A W N H Bandaranayake USP, Commander Security Forces (Central), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During the ceremony, he awarded certificates to the students who excelled in the course and adorned them with Sniper badges.
