12 SLNG Troops Provide School Accessories for Students in Thoppigala

Under the guidance of Major H.M.V.P Herath, the Commanding Officer of 12 Sri Lanka National Guard (SLNG), the troops of the Battalion conducted a distribution programme to provide essential school accessories for 145 students residing in Thoppigala on 06 April 2024 at Koralepatthu South Divisional Secretariat auditorium.

Rs. 6000.00 worth of school accessory packs were donated for each student. Donors from Negombo area, Mr. Ranil Fernando, Mr.Jiwantha Fernando, Mr. Terence Fernando and Mr. Tyrone Mendis sponsored for this donation.

Major General K.V.N.P Premaratne RSP USP psc, the General Officer Commanding of 23 Infantry Division graced the occasion as the chief guest.
