The troops of 22 Division organized an educational tour to Anuradhapura with the students of the Rewatha Children’s Development Center Tincomalee on (19) Sunday.
The Educational tour got underway as a response to a request made by the Chief Matron of the Rewatha Children's Development Center from the General Officer Commanding 22 Division Major General Aruna Jayasekara’ 22 Division provided meals, transportation facilities and other essential requirements during the tour.
The students got the opportunity to visit Sri Maha Bodhiya“ Ruwanweli Mahaseya“ Jethawanaramaya“ Lovamahapaya“ Mirisawetiya“ Thuparamaya“ Twin ponds“ Lankaramaya“ Abhayagiriya“ Samadhi Buddha Statue and Isurumuniya’ 30 students and 04 Matrons participated in this educational tour.
