22 INFANTRY DIVISION GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING CHALLENGE THROPHY ELLE TOURNAMENT

According to the concept of General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Maj Gen PAM Pieris RSP USP psc, under the instructions and guidance of Commander 223Infantry Brigade and under the supervision of Commanding Officer 5thBattalion Sri Lanka Artillery under 22 Infantry Division Conducted The Elle Tournament on 27.03.2024 and 30.03.2024 at Mollipothana Hameedia Sport Club ground.

General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Maj Gen PAM Peiris RSP USP psc, Commander 223 Infantry Brigade Brig YHP Rangajeewa USP, Commander 222 Infantry Brigade. Commander 221 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officers of all Battalions participated in the said event.5th Sri Lanka Artillery and 6 Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps were Selected for the finals after competing with 10 Elle teams.

At the End of the Finals 6 Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps won the championship of the tournament and the 5th Sri Lanka Artillery won the Runners. Winning teams were awarded Trophies and medals by General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division Maj Gen PAM Peiris RSP USP psc and Commander 223 Infantry Brigade Brig YHP Rangajeewa USP.
