22 INFANTRY DIVISION ORGANIZED A TARGET QUESTION PAPER DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM FOR THE 5-YEAR SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION

According to the direction of General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Major General GMN Perera RWP RSP USP ndc, Brigade Commanders of 221,222 and 223 Infantry Brigades and Civil Affairs Officer, 22 Infantry Division organized a programme to distribute target question papers packs for the grade 5 scholarship examination for the year 2023 on 18 September 2023 in District of Trincomalee. For this event, 1555 of grade 5 students were benefited and this great social work carried out under the theme of ‘Pahata Pahak’ with the contribution of "Alumni Friends" of Royal College Colombo and "Old Scholarly Friends" of University of Sri Jayewardenepura Gangodawila with the participation of Mr. Prasad Lokubalasuriya who is the initiator of the concept.

The Commanding Officer, 20 Battalion Gajaba Regiment and Commander, 221 Infantry Brigade organized the programme in Jayanthi Wewa Primary College in Padavi Sripura DS division. Commanding Officer, 5(V) Sri Lanka Artillery and Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade organized the programme at the Kanthale, Seenipura 5 (V) Sri Lanka Artillery camp premises for 1072 school students were belongs to 29 schools in Kantale education zone. Commanding Officer, 6 Sri Lanka Armoured Corps (RFT) and Commander, 223 Infantry Brigade organized the programme for 307 students of Medawachchiya Maha Vidyalaya and Morawewa Vidyalaya in Gomarankadawala DS division area. Donation contained 5 sets of model question papers which including part 1 and 2.
