22 Infantry Division and under command troops together with the village community was held a Coriander Dansala for over 200 devotees who participated in the annual "Puja" ceremony at the Hanuman temple in the Trincomalee on 11 January 2024.
On the invitation of the head priest of Hanuman temple, the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, Major General P A M Peiris RSP USP psc, Senior Staff Officers of the Division, and also the Commanding Officer with Officers and Other Ranks of the 2 (V) Gajaba Regiment participated in the ceremony.
At the end of the event, this community relations work was highly appreciated by the head priest of Trincomalee Hanuman temple.
