242 INFANTRY BRIGADE ORGANIZED A BEACH CLEANING PROGRAME

242 Infantry Brigade and 14 SLSR have organized a beach cleaning programme from Pothuvil Muhudu MahaViharaya beach premises to Arugambay beach premises on 15 Sep 2023. For this programme 01 x 15 troops participated and Pothuvil Municipal Council assisted to transport the garbage.

The event was organized by the Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, with the direction of Commander, 24 Infantry Division. The Commander, 241 Infantry Brigade, Colonel LSDN Pathirathne RSP USP, Civil Affairs Officer, 242 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officer, 14 SLSR, Officers and Other Ranks of 14 SLSR were attended to the event.
