According to an information received by 3(Volunteer) Military Intelligence Corps, Intelligent troops (attach to 234 Infantry Brigade) together with Meegaswewa police stations officials, a person was Apprehended with 02g of “Methamphetamine” (Ice Drugs) at Diyasenpura area on 02 January 2023. Suspected person with illegal drugs were handed over to the Meegaswewa police stations for further investigations.
The Commander, Security Forces - East, together with the General Officer Commanding, 23 Infantry Division, the Brigade Commander of 234 Infantry Brigade and Commanding Officer of the 3 (Volunteer) Military Intelligence Corps closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the Apprehended of these illegal activities, which illegal activities will be stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence about the Military forces will be increased.
