According to the information received by 7 Military Intelligent Corps troops Intelligent troops together with Sooriyapura STF officials; a person was apprehended with 09g of Kerala Cannabis at Thopur on 12 May 2023. Thereafter suspected person with illegal drugs were handed over to the Thopur police station for further investigations.
The Commander, Security Forces (East) together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, and the Brigade Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade with the Commanding Officer, 7 Military Intelligence Corps closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the apprehended of these illegal activities in respective areas, illegal activities will be stopped in the area and the general public’s confidence in the Military forces will be increased.
