CAPTURE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS AT AGBOPURA

According to an information received by 7 Military Intelligence Corps troops, together with Suriyapura Special Task Force officials, a person was apprehended with 1.580 g of Methamphetamine (ICE) at Agbopura on 18 Sep 2023. Thereafter suspected person with illegal drugs were handed over to the Agbopura Police Station for further investigations.

The Commander, Security Forces (East) together with the General Officer Commanding, 22 Infantry Division, and the Brigade Commander, 222 Infantry Brigade with the Commanding Officer, 7 Military Intelligence Corps closely monitored the raid and instructed accordingly. With the apprehended of accused, illegal activities will be curtailed in the area and the general public’s confidence in the military forces will be increased.
