Independence Day Celebration Organized by the Federation of Kattankudy Mosques, Muslim Institutions, and Sri Lanka Army, held at main street Kattankudy.
Students had a colorful parade and decorated the event with bands and cultural events.
The General Officer Commanding 24 Division Major General Wipula Chandrasiri participated as a chief guest and the Commander of the 243 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Chandima Kumarasinghe Participated in the event as a special guest. Mawlavis and the Muslim community participated to witness this occasion.
