CHURCH AREA RECEIVES CLEAN-UP

At the request of the Priest in charge of St. Anthony's Church, Punani (Mylanthannai), Father A. Thevathasan, the troops of 23 Division and SF HQ (East) assisted to clean up the church premises during 23 and 24 March 2018. The programme was conducted with the guidance of Commander SF East Major General Santhusitha Pananwala.

During this worthy cause, the troops joined hands with civilians to clean the dense growth of wild grasses and bushes surrounding the church and its premises.The Priest in charge of the church appreciated and thanked the troops for their support.
